The Westwood Community School District will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday November 27-29, 2024. We will reopen on Monday, December 2, 2024.

The Westwood Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 6 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to approve various contracts and agreements.

The meeting location is 3335 S. Beech Daly, Dearborn Heights.

Summer school morning classes are cancelled for Tomlinson Middle School, Robichaud High School, Westwood North Academy and Westwood Virtual Academy for July 10, 2024, due to no power at Tomlinson Middle School.

Afternoon summer school classes have also been cancelled for July 10, 2024 for Robichaud High School, Westwood North Academy and Westwood Virtual Academy due to no power.

The Westwood Community School District will be closed June 28-July 5, 2024. We will reopen on Monday, July 8, 2024. Have a safe and fun 4th of July!

At the May 28, 2024 Special Meeting, the Westwood Board of Education voted to reschedule the June 6, 2024 Budget Hearing and the combined Work Study Session and Regular Board Meeting to Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively. The location for both meetings is the Equilla Bradford Administrative Center, 3335 S. Beech Daly, Dearborn Heights.

A pesticide treatment will take place at Robichaud High School March 25-27, 2024. No one will be allowed to enter Robichaud until Thursday, March 28, 2024.

Thorne Elementary School is having a Wild About Reading event on March 20, 2024 from 5-6:45 p.m. Join us for dinner, games, and of course, reading! Enter through the Thorne Intermediate doors. See you there!

The Westwood Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 6 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to approve contracts for bleachers and the gymnasium flooring system at Robichaud High School.

The meeting location is 3335 S. Beech Daly, Dearborn Heights.

A pesticide treatment will take place at Thorne Elementary School after school on Friday, March 8, 2024. No one will be allowed to enter Thorne until Monday, March 11, 2024.
