The Westwood Board of Education will postpone its meetings currently scheduled for February 20, 2025. They are slated to be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 6:30 and 7 p.m.

The 6:30 p.m. meeting is to consider a first reading of Policy 8510 (Wellness) and the 7 p.m. meeting is the Combined Work Study Session and Regular Board Meeting.

The Westwood Community School District will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday November 27-29, 2024. We will reopen on Monday, December 2, 2024.

The Westwood Community School District will be closed February 17-18, 2025 for Mid-Winter Break. We will reopen on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

Due to the anticipated, treacherous road conditions, the Westwood Community School District will be closed tomorrow February 13, 2025. All after school activities for today, Wednesday February 12th are cancelled.

Also, the Westwood Board of Education will postpone its meetings currently scheduled for February 13, 2025. They are slated to be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 6:30 and 7 p.m.

The Westwood Community School District will be closed Thursday, February 6, 2025 due to anticipated icy road conditions in the morning. All afterschool activities are currently scheduled to proceed as planned.

The Westwood Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. The topic of the meeting is the District's General Counsel. The meeting will be held at the Equilla Bradford Administrative Center, 3335 S. Beech Daly, Dearborn Heights, and will start at 6 p.m.; thank you.

The Westwood Community School District Board of Education will hold its Annual Organizational Meeting on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. It will be held at the Equilla Bradford Administrative Center, 3335 S. Beech Daly, Dearborn Heights and will start at 7 p.m.

The purpose of the Annual Organizational Meeting is to act on such matters as:  the election of officers, setting meeting dates, naming of depositories for funds, and professional service providers such as law firms and auditors.

The Westwood Community School District will be closed from December 23, 2024, to January 3, 2025. We will reopen on Monday, January 6, 2025.
